Killdozer, etc

posted by Lang'uid Squal'or, a student of transexual arts on July 12, 2001

I just picked up Killdozer cd FOR LADIES ONLY for $5 used, which brings me to several points of (non)interest:

1] Killdozer were great! Even this cd, comprised as it is of covers of some really awful songs (American Pie is the worst!) rocks pretty hard! This is the only cd I have of theirs, so if y'all see any out there in the used bins, grab em up for me! I could even pay you back with PayPal!!

2]Other cds I'm looking for currently are:

+any of the early Fugs except their second album/cd,

+the dbl cd by King Crismon called B'Boom: Live in Argentia. this dblcd retails new for $16.95... Also any of the new re-issues of the earlier King Crimson stuff

3]What is ya'll's opinions about buying used cds? If I'm faced with buying a used or new cd where the artist will either get paid or not, usually I am all for it, no matter who it is, but recently I've been re-thinking that. For example, I recently felt kinda guilty for buying a used Vic Chesnutt cd, knowing he's out there trying to make a living... what do yall think?
