I recall having checked this 'log several times, because I thought we had at one time discussed the Hankey Codes, but until now, I guess we haven't.
So once and for all, here are a few links to the Hankey Code, two chosen specifically [1 2], plus a page to a google search for more, depending how interested you are in comparing these.
