Hey Motor Vehicle owners,
I need help transfering a title. It's for the scooter. I got a title that's been signed over to me. I need to send it to the DMV. Do I send the top part, the bottom part or both? The DMV website was no help. Do I send a check? Help. Confused.
I find it incredibly sad that you actually took the time to poke fun at something you don't and never will understand. At any rate, please enlighten me with what government departments you do enjoy. Not to knock the IRS or whatever it is you are into, but the DMV is compiled of some of the best employees in the country. So, before you want to trash something I'm into, either do your homework, or just shut your mouth. You are just making yourself sound silly to those who know the DMV and how to register their scooter. I guess you are obtaining a large fanbase chock full of those who agree with you because like you, they don't understand the DMV, either. Maybe I'm wrong here. But, it doesn't seem like you understand a damn thing about transfering a title. Keep an open-mind, and next time, look into some of the DMV's free pamhplets and not just their website. Check to see if you need the title notarized (used to in Texas, but not no more), and take the thing to the DMV in person along with proof of insurance and proof of vehicle inspection (if Cali. asks for that at the time of title transfer). Sucks to sacrifice half a day to them, but you'll get it done right.

first of all, he was helpful and gave me the information i needed. THEN and ONLY then did he go ahead with the deserved ball-breaking.

I take it you didn't buy the scooter from a dealership, eh? I can't remember how I did it in Texas when I sold my truck, but I think it probably varies from state to state. Check me! I'm all helpful-less!
