Dorky Cornpewter Question

posted by Krayon Scribbel on April 5, 2004

Can anyone recommend a good training class for Mac/Apple support? I'm interested in anything; on-site, on line, etc. Basically, I'm looking for some decent first level support training, current platforms to probably 2 or so years back. Any thoughts would be helpfuller than shit. Thanky kindly.

I don't know about any fancy online stuff, but this is a very good book for beginners and intermediates about OS X. It covers most of the ways people might get lost. You should check it out in person though to see if it's what you need.

Take a look at this material. (It's nested in The Lounge, so use the Lounge username/password.) We got it from Apple for all the teachers that are moving to the new system. It might be more simplistic than you need, but it's there if you want. I've got similar stuff for Office if you want that.

Oh, obviously, that's probably not useful for company-wide distribution. I don't know if they sell that stuff to private companies or if it's only for the education market.
