So now Johnny Ramone is dead too?

so that just leaves marky, and the other spare drummers and bssists; c.j., orville, scooby, gustav, ramone, genisis p., john the baptist, aunt sylvia, and anonymous, right? Did I leave any of them out?

RIP Johnny Ramone

"Johnny Ramone, guitarist and co-founder of the seminal punk band "The Ramones," has died. He was 55."

Tommy is the only original Ramone left.

We might have done this before, a LONG time ago..

Please list 5 - 6 records that you use to bring to an end the party that's gone on in your house way too long. The trick here is to play records that you personally love, but that will definately clear the room of the lightweights, the unwanteds, so you can groove on your own or with the few friends who are likely to hang out cuz they actually also like what you're playing.

Phil:
1] Just about any Yoko Ono, but particularly "Cambridge 1969"
2] Magma- Mekanik Destructiv Comandoh
3] John Coltrane - Om
4] Captain Beefheart- Trout Mask Replica (start it on side two, @ about the point where the song "Pena" hits, the ants will definately scatter!)
5] Throbbing Gristle- 2nd Annual Report, (or just about any disc from the recent 24 Hours or TG+ live boxes, especially the early ones that have the songs "Very Friendly" & "Zyklon B Zombie" running through them!)
--I know i've left out some valuable party-ending tools, let me know what yall's are! :b

Watch the monkey get hurt, monkey!

Considering the minor hit by peter gabriel, Shock the Monkey, a mildly interesting, catchy song: what is it "about"? My limited knowledge of the lyrics makes me think that it might be a song about vivisection, and "our" complacent "acceptance" of it. or rather, the song is an indictment of "society's" complacency in the face of cruelty. Am i even close, or is it just a fun goofy little pop song with a catchy phrase & hook? Anybody got the lyrics?

And didn't he release the singe in German too? McFreeze, any german comments?
