Etiquette Question

posted by Dick Septic on December 10, 2004

When did people stop standing up so you could get by them in movie theaters?

And when they refuse to move do you step on their toes, bang their knees or give them the ass to the face?

Comments

I tend to do a little bit of knee banging and a little bit of ass facing. In my experience it's the ones who take up the most room that are the least likely to stand up.

ps: what movie did you see?

"SAW"? That was awesome huh?

It happens routinely at all movies. But my favorite is when it happens at kids' movies. "Grownups" won't even attempt to get out of the way for Henry to get by. This is also the most fun because after he squeezes by I follow and just take out a knee. And I'm doing it for the children.

how delightful. Here was the pitch:

"It's like 'Boys in the Band' meets 'La Cage a Folles' meets the Chicago BEARS... get it?"
