the MES text filter

Hey McFrozen, I have tried many times to download extract & install this application without success…

Any idea how do I work this thing-ah??…

Sorry, man, I don't know. I took a quick look at hte README file and it looks like your options are either run it in DOS (from the command line prompt) or you need to actually compile it to use it in Windows. If you don't have a C compiler you're SOL.

I tried running it through DOS on my XP machine at work and I'm getting a stack fault (it's fucked up and not working), which could mean that I'm running it wrong or that it doesn't work on XP for some reason. More likely I'm running it wrong.

Did you try in that site's forums?

Thanks, I haven't much patience for these tech type issues - If YOU can't figure it out, then I'm writing it off...
