Mel Torme sings this twisted and disturbing ballad on the Was (Not Was) album Born To Laugh At Tornadoes, released in 1983 (the record also featured guest vocalists Mitch Ryder and Ozzy Osbourne). P.J. Harvey recorded a cover of this song with ex-Magic Band member Eric Drew Feldman, too, though it doesn't come close to the Velvet Fog's command performance...
